The Please And Thank Yous

a coupla days ago, i believe it was on the 9th, we played at the albion house. it was super hot that day and despite waking up at noon i and everyone else seemed tired as fuck. one of the p.a.'s busted in our first song and the second one dropped out on our second song. although the show was a sunday-afternoon-in-the-park-type-deal, we played with two really cool bands maltross and heart shaped hate (hsh is touring with our bff's bust!, who we will probably be doing a 7" split with in the coming year).

tonight we played a rad show at alexis' house in wadsworth, IL (bumblefuck, right by the wisconsin border). it was vince from parrhesia's cousin anthony's going away party. we finally got to play a show with parrhesia, and we also got to see this sick tappy math rock band weye and this cool dude whose name i don't know how to spell. finally armada from milwaukee played a short set.

saturday is harvey danger at schuba's. i think blink 182 is also playing that day, but they're playing with panic at the shitsco and fall out boy. then sunday a few of us are going to rockford to do gang vocals for the revision plan's 7"...so we might be able to finish mixing our record after that. whew that was long.
